The allusiveness of Peeter Mudist’s paintings is also present in graphic art. The figure depicted from the back appears to represent an emancipated, self-confident woman, denoted by the clothing ‘pants’ (or: not a skirt). However, the almost suggestive outline contrasts with the powerful shadow she casts. Mudist perceived the people around him and visualised his perceptions.
