Marju Üksine, who received numerous awards for graphic art exhibitions, joined the group of powerful Estonian female graphic artists in the 1970s, whose focus was only on graphic art, not painting. Thus, each graphic artist developed their own perfectionist style of depiction, which version we see in the work of Marje Üksine Hommik (Morning). Music is visualised – well-portrayed flute players spread musical colours around them while the city is still asleep. Elements of Tallinn’s Old Town can be recognised in the cityscape.
