Otepää Landscape. 1975
Tempera, gouache, cardboard. 34.2 x 50.7 cm (framed)

A sympathetically bright view of drumlins of Otepää, depicted with a slight stylisation, as if the fields were geometric abstractionism. A loving emotional relationship with the landscapes of South Estonia shines through the painting. Ilmar Linnat regularly appeared in the overview exhibitions of Tartu and Tallinn until the end of the 1970s after participating in the 1943 autumn exhibition of the Pallas school of art.
