Classic still-life with dishes, fruits, a bottle, and an animal carcass. Jüri Marran, who is educated as a physicist, pays special attention here to optical processes – reflections of light, which on a dark bottle take on the shape of a small heart. Jüri Marran, who grew up in the family of a mathematician, became a physicist and physics teacher but who was nevertheless also attracted to artistic expression. He received his art education from 1962 to 1967 at the workshop school of Melanie and Erich Arrak.
