Ardo Sivadi "Tallinn Song Festival Grounds"

The charcoal drawing is a tribute to the Song Festival Grounds, designed by architect Alar Kotli in 1960 and widely admired. It is a landmark building in the history of Estonian architecture that connects people through music and is deeply rooted in people’s experience. Ardo Sivadi, who was mainly associated with Narva and worked as an art teacher, managed to study at the Pallas art school in Tartu in the early 1920s under Konrad Mägi and Ado Vabbe.
