Everything in this painting draws attention to a bright mysterious house located exactly in the centre of the picture, brought into focus with the help of a central perspective, a path, and a selected colour. Whether such a house exists, the artist knows exactly himself but architecturally it looks too strange. It would seem to be a realistic painting, but typical of Toomas Vint, a mystery has been placed here, the source of which is impossible to name. The artist has painted out every blade of grass and leaf of a tree, the degree of detail accuracy is high. The dreaminess and surrealism of Toomas Vint’s paintings arouse fantasy and free flight of thought. Toomas Vint belongs to both the Estonian Artists’ Association and the Estonian Writers’ Union, possessing both visuality and word at an advanced level.
