Else Lennert

Else Lennert born in Sisimiut in 1956. Else has lived in Denmark since was very young. In Denmark she has worked as an auxiliary nurse for many years but she injured her back she had to be rehabilitated. The women in her family have always been good at sewing and embroidering and therefore she realised an old dream when she completed her education as a designer and tailor at the Else Saran school in 2000. In 2001 she opened her own shop in the centre of Copenhagen. Else gets inspiration from structures and colours. When she touches fabrics she gets pictures in her mind and can see how the design should be. Sealskin is also represented in her creation.
