Artist Jüri Mildeberg is again in the Haus Gallery with his
works! In the year 2000, on October 5, the Haus Gallery opened the
doors of its new rooms in the old town with the exhibition of the works of
the artist Jüri Mildeberg that generally has until now been in the gallery
one of the most loved and most memorised exposition. |
|
We know Jüri Mildeberg as an absolutuely original
artist, depicting with humour and grotesque the internal and external
visions of man. His fantasy games, objects and their connections and the
manner, how he presents them, are at the same time simple and
self-evident, but always surprising. Just this finally mentioned side
in the artist is most of all exposed the current exhibition that is also
technically different from the previous ones. |
|
In the exhibition hall can be seen finely elaborated
pictures, being painted on wooden boards. Each of them individually is
like a sign, on which have been painted two unseparable notions - double
notions - a dual which is connected with sign & that cannot be
expressed in words. |
|
So woman & man, mother & father, house &
tree,....... Each of the following single word creates in us automatically
its unseparable partner. |
|
These are paintings, with the help of which the artist
focuses for us the connections between lovely everyday things,
relationships and situation that maybe have lost some of their importance
in everyday routine. |
