ESTONIAN GLASS ARTISTS’ UNION. ACCORDANCE IV. WITH/WITHOUT SNOW

For the fourth year in a row, Estonian glass art visits Haus Gallery to create a dialogue with the stationary exposition of the gallery. The traditional title of the exhibition, “Accordance”, is a conjoining keyword whose subtitle of this year, “With/Without Snow”, embraces a longing for light reflected from snow. Snow forms a major part of the identity of the Estonian winter, compensating for the long and sunless winter time and, if absent, causes feelings of longing and is the subject of endless conversations.  Glass artists have moulded the stories of this year, with or without snow, in the glass and intermingled with the permanent exposition of Haus Gallery.

As in earlier years, this exhibition aims to promote the brilliant and diversified creations of Estonian glass artists. Small sculptural forms and items are on display, certain to arouse the interest of collectors as well as all friends of art. Works from optical materials are perfect to be given as a celebratory gift or to be added to one’s home collection.

Nine artists are displaying their works at the exhibition: Kersti Vaks, Rait Prääts, Piret Ellamaa, Eve Koha, Tiina Sarapu, Maret Sarapu, Sofi Aršas, Anna-Maria Vaino, and Inga Koppel.
