Enno Lehis

Enno Lehis is a watercolourist born in Loksa (Harjumaa). Between 1930-1934 studied at Tallinn Music Academy, specializing on playing the trumpet. Continued to study at ERKI, specializing in oil painting (1944-1951). After graduating from ERKI, worked as an independent artist. Lehis is in favour of landscapes, depicting sea and autumn. Nevertheless, he has also experience in composition and portrait painting. In his works, Lehis uses soft fluent colours, which are obtained by mixing the colours while they are still wet.
