Interpretation of the work by Anatoli Kaigorodov could be executed by several lines. From one side we may look at it as at a classical lanscape painting, where sunset is being depicted by skilful use of colours and a cottage has been lifted slightly left in order to keep the view clear. Still, this would be too easy. It is important to comprehend that random elements rarely end up in a painting. If at the first sight it seems to us that depiction of the cottage is useless, then Kaigorodov has painted it with a purpose. From one side to create the mood, hinting with the slightly crumbled fence to the passing of time – as the sunset refers to passing of a day. From another side: placing next to each other things that have been made by human hands and the nature, the house and the sun and giving both of them equally credit.
