A drawing with light cubism influences, where the body of the act is treated more like a form that is subject to geometrization. A concrete model as a living person is reduced to an abstract generalization. At the same time, the position of the legs and arms speaks of the classical contrapposto of ancient Greek sculpture (the right leg carries the weight of the body, the left leg rests; the right arm rests, the left arm carries the weight of the head). Contemporary artistic innovation has been synthesized into the drawing, while being informed by the centuries-old canon of Western art history. Ott Kangilaski, as one of the authors of the art history textbook "Kunsti kukeaabits" (1968), in cooperation with Jaak Kangilaski, has raised several generations of young Estonians.
