The title suggests an idyllic view of Tartu in the evening. Ernst Tiido's colorful linocut brings to the fore an idyllic old tree, the waters of Emajõgi River and the sky in evening colors - proportionally nature covers most of the picture. But then the eye sees the shadow theater of house ruins on the other side of Emajõgi. The greatest trauma of the city of Tartu and its people, which has lasted until today, has been tried to be suppressed, but not hidden. The artist from Tartu knew what all Tartu residents really felt in their souls after World War II.
