A visually very pleasing work, in which the 47-year-old artist, already with a certain creative handwriting and having established himself, is obviously trying to think along with the artistic innovation of young artists. For comparison, the colourful paintings of the students of the time, Malle Leis, Enno Ootsing, Aili Vint, and others, come to mind. Ilmar Torn is known mainly as a vigorous graphic artist, who often portrayed the themes of work, and especially beach life.
