Herman Talvik

The works by Herman Talvik are characterized by power and grand line. The latter means in the first range the fearlessness to touch cosmic themes. The present semi-abstract work also enchants with its elaboration. The subtle Naima Neidre – style of network becomes upon need either more dense or enlarges the picture room and lets the light glow through. The lines thicken here and there so that they already form figures and symbols. Talvik, having lived in seclusion, has here not thought of the possibility of doing things “as properly as possible”, but he is being free, spontaneous and creative.
