My interest is focused on the flow of time, on the movement that is not perceptible in isolation from space. Time and space per se are not visible – they surface in the vision due to the changes, for instance, due to the movement or distance. Selecting photography as the point of reference for further work, I want to problematize the relationship between discontinuity and continuity. The time of photography, painting or sculpture is respective media determined, at the same time it includes the linear, place-bound moment of time and the relationship between the quickness and the slowness of time.
Also I am interested to question the medium as a tool that shapes the collective memory and the thin border between the “high” and “low”
art by proposing the same image in the form of souvenir for the “objects for sale” part.
